2. ABOUT THIS POLICY
This Policy explains how Royalty Rising uses cookies and other technologies that store information on, or access information from, a user's device.
These technologies may include:
Cookies.
Local storage.
Session storage.
Tracking pixels.
Scripts and tags.
Device or browser identifiers.
Other storage and access technologies.
The rules governing these technologies apply more widely than traditional browser cookies.
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Where the use of a storage or access technology involves personal information, UK data-protection law may also apply.
In general, a storage or access technology may be used where:
Valid consent has been obtained.
It is necessary for the transmission of a communication.
It is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user.
An applicable statistical purposes exception applies.
An applicable appearance or functionality exception applies.
Another lawful exception applies.
Where an exception does not apply and consent is required, Royalty Rising will seek appropriate consent.
5. CURRENT ROYALTY RISING WEBSITE POSITION
The main Royalty Rising public website is currently built using Hostinger AI Builder.
Hostinger states that websites built using its AI Builder do not use cookies by default.
Whether cookies or other tracking technologies are introduced depends on the integrations and features enabled on a particular website.
At the date of this Policy, Royalty Rising has not knowingly enabled optional tracking integrations such as:
Google Analytics.
Google Tag Manager tracking.
Meta Pixel.
Hotjar.
Advertising tracking.
AdSense or AdMob advertising tracking.
Other behavioural advertising technologies.
This position may change as Royalty Rising develops.
If optional tracking technology is introduced, we will review whether consent or another lawful basis or exception is required before it is activated.
6. HOSTINGER BUILT-IN TRAFFIC ANALYTICS
Hostinger provides built-in traffic information for websites created with Hostinger AI Builder.
Hostinger states that this traffic analytics system operates through Cloudflare CDN and does not use cookies or third-party tracking integrations.
Hostinger also states that this system is used to provide general traffic information such as visitor numbers, country and device type and does not collect personal data for that analytics function.
Royalty Rising may use this general traffic information to understand how the public website is performing.
7. ROYALTY RISING APPLICATIONS
Royalty Rising applications may use storage or access technologies that are necessary to operate application functionality.
These may include technologies necessary for:
Account authentication.
Login sessions.
Account security.
Fraud prevention.
Protecting accounts from unauthorised access.
Maintaining a user session.
Remembering settings requested by the user.
Providing functionality requested by the user.
Maintaining the technical operation of the service.
Where a technology is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user, consent may not be required.
We will not classify optional advertising or behavioural tracking as strictly necessary merely because it may be commercially useful.
8. COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES
Some storage or access may be necessary solely to transmit communications over an electronic communications network.
Where the legal communication exception applies, separate consent is not required for that purpose.
Royalty Rising will only rely on this exception where the relevant legal requirements are satisfied.
9. STRICTLY NECESSARY TECHNOLOGIES
Royalty Rising may use technologies without consent where they are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user.
Examples may include technologies needed to:
Authenticate a user.
Maintain account security.
Remember information needed during a transaction or process.
Detect fraud.
Detect technical faults.
Maintain service continuity.
Remember a privacy choice.
Provide a feature specifically requested by the user.
The strictly necessary exception is interpreted according to applicable law.
A technology is not treated as strictly necessary simply because it is useful to Royalty Rising.
10. STATISTICAL PURPOSES
UK law permits certain storage or access technologies to be used for the sole purpose of collecting statistical information about how an online service is used without requiring consent where all applicable legal conditions are met.
Royalty Rising will only rely on this exception where the technology and information are used exclusively for qualifying statistical purposes and the relevant safeguards are satisfied.
Where required, users will be given clear information and a simple means of objecting.
Information obtained under this exception will not be repurposed for behavioural advertising, individual profiling or unrelated tracking.
11. APPEARANCE AND FUNCTIONALITY
Certain technologies may be used to adapt the appearance or functionality of an online service according to a user's preferences.
Examples might include remembering:
Language choices.
Display preferences.
Accessibility settings.
Layout choices.
Other settings selected by a user.
Where the applicable legal exception applies, separate consent may not be required.
Where required, Royalty Rising will provide clear information and a simple means for the user to object or change the preference.
12. OPTIONAL ANALYTICS
Royalty Rising may introduce additional analytics services in future.
These might include services designed to understand:
Which pages are visited.
How people move through the website.
Which features are used.
Where technical problems occur.
How services can be improved.
If an analytics technology requires consent, it will not be activated for that user until valid consent has been obtained.
Where an applicable legal exception permits analytics without consent, Royalty Rising will comply with the conditions of that exception.
13. MARKETING, ADVERTISING AND PROFILING
Royalty Rising does not currently operate behavioural advertising on its main public website.
If advertising, behavioural tracking, profiling or marketing technologies are introduced in future, they will be assessed before use.
Where consent is legally required, such technologies will not be activated before consent.
Royalty Rising will not treat silence, inactivity, continued browsing or a pre-selected choice as consent.
Users aged 13 to 17 are subject to additional privacy protections.
Royalty Rising does not currently use behavioural advertising directed at younger users.
14. CONSENT
Where consent is required for a storage or access technology, Royalty Rising will seek a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the user's wishes.
A user should be able to make a genuine choice.
Where relevant, users may be given options such as:
Accept all.
Reject all.
Choose particular categories.
Consent must not be obtained through a pre-ticked box.
Optional technologies should not be activated before the required consent has been given.
15. REFUSING OR WITHDRAWING CONSENT
Where a technology relies on consent, users may refuse that consent.
Users may also withdraw consent after giving it.
Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Where a Royalty Rising consent-control mechanism is available, users should be able to use it to change their choices.

16. REMEMBERING YOUR PRIVACY CHOICE
A website may need to remember that a user has accepted or rejected particular storage technologies.

This avoids repeatedly asking a user to make the same choice every time they visit.
Such technology will only be used to the extent reasonably necessary for managing the user's privacy preference.

Royalty Rising may embed content supplied by external services.
This may include:
YouTube videos.
Music players.
Social-media content.
Audio services.
Other external media.
An embedded service may use its own cookies, local storage, scripts or other technologies.
Where an embedded service uses non-exempt storage or access technologies for which consent is required, those technologies should only be activated after the required consent has been obtained.
Royalty Rising will review embedded services and use privacy-protective settings where reasonably available.
Users should also review the privacy and cookie information provided by the relevant external service.
18. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Royalty Rising may link to or integrate with third-party services.
Those organisations may operate their own cookies and storage technologies.
Examples may include:
Music platforms.
Streaming services.
Collecting societies.
Social-media services.
Video services.
Technology providers.
Payment providers if payments are introduced.
Royalty Rising does not control technologies used on an independent third-party website simply because we provide a link to that website.
Where a third-party technology is incorporated directly into a Royalty Rising service, we will consider our responsibilities for that integration.

Royalty Rising accounts are currently available from age 13.

When deciding whether to use storage or access technologies on services likely to be accessed by younger users, Royalty Rising will take account of their best interests and applicable age-appropriate design requirements.
We do not intend to use storage technologies to conduct behavioural advertising directed at younger users.
We do not intend to use unnecessary tracking or profiling of younger users.
Technologies used for younger users should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service, security, functionality or another lawful purpose.
21. BROWSER AND DEVICE CONTROLS
Browsers and devices often provide controls that allow users to:
View cookies.
Delete cookies.
Block cookies.
Clear local storage.
Restrict tracking.
Control website permissions.
Using browser controls may affect some website or application functions.
Browser controls do not replace a consent mechanism where Royalty Rising itself is legally required to obtain consent.

Royalty Rising will periodically review the technologies used across its website and applications.
